The Baobab Home

About the Project

The Baobab Home works alongside the Bagamoyo community in Tanzania, combining education, sustainability, and community care. What started as a response to urgent needs—nutritious meals, HIV/AIDS support, and shelter—now serves 190 children annually with quality education and a farm where students learn about environmental science, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy.

The Problem: Their website was built on an outdated NationBuilder theme that didn't reflect their incredible work. It looked disconnected from who they are, was hard to navigate, and difficult for their team to update. They couldn't properly showcase their programs or connect with supporters.

What We Did: Complete redesign within NationBuilder. We created a warm, modern design that tells their story clearly and makes it easy for people to get involved. The new site highlights their key programs and gives visitors clear ways to support their work.

The result: A website that actually represents the quality of their mission. As NationBuilder Certified Experts, we built something that's visually engaging and easy for their team to maintain. Now they have a strong foundation for growth, fundraising, and sharing their impact with the world.
